Beginners- Ages 3 - 6
Children begin as early as age 3 in the Hot Shots program learning the basics of strength and coordination. They begin to learn the skills by being exposed to all the events. The pre-team program teaches the basic skills and achieve level 3 abilities. Our goal is to provide a positive, safe and successful environment for all of our athletes. Our job is to create a fun, disciplined, goal oriented program. Intermediate - Levels 4, 5 & 6
In Levels 4, 5 & 6 each of the levels builds upon the skills acquired in the previous level. The competitors will begin USA Gymnastics Sanctioned competition at Level 4, where they will be competing against other children in their same age group and ability levels. Levels 4, 5 & 6 are compulsory levels, meaning that each gymnast performs the same routine as every other gymnast in competition. Advanced - Levels 7, 8, 9, & 10
In Levels 7, 8, 9 & 10, gymnasts begin performing optional routines, in which they perform routines, created from a list of appropriate skills, with their own distinct and personal style. Most gymnasts who earn scholarships to college are Level 10 and above.
